Images on KarirAman are icons and illustrations, not stock photos of people. ## How do we write about money, law and scams? Wage, salary and cost figures are never typed into the text. They come from data files and appear with their unit, period, source and date. Legal pages cite the article they rely on and carry the note "Not legal advice". On the cost of working abroad we always follow the same order: Law 18/2017 (UU 18/2017) Article 30(1) says Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) cannot be charged placement costs; Permen P2MI 17/2025 makes the employer bear placement costs and lets the worker be charged only for costs written and itemised in the placement agreement (Perjanjian Penempatan); any other request for money is a red flag.
