- The decree says the UMK applies only to workers with less than one year of service; pay for workers with more than one year follows the wage structure and scale. Micro and small businesses are exempt from the ban on paying below the UMK.

## What is the 2026 West Java minimum wage per day and per hour?

A daily wage is the monthly wage divided by 25 where the company works a 6-day week, or by 21 for a 5-day week. An hourly wage applies only to part-time workers: the monthly wage divided by 126. The table works these out from the 2026 UMP; they are calculations, not rates set by the government.
