## Frequently asked questions

**Is the kartu kuning (AK1) job seeker card still in use?**

The national rule on the kartu kuning (AK/I) in Manpower Regulation 39/2016 was revoked by Manpower Regulation 18/2024, in force since 30 December 2024. Job seekers who are about to work now need a SIAPkerja-ID, obtained free of charge by creating an account and filling in a profile on SIAPkerja (Articles 36 and 43).
