## What should you leave off your CV?

A CV needs only your name, contact details, summary, experience, education, skills and certificates. Ministry of Manpower Circular M/6/HK.04/V/2025 of 28 May 2025 bars employers from discriminating on any basis in recruitment, and Law 27/2022 classes religion and marital status as personal data. ## Why does this CV builder have no photo field?

The elucidation of Article 4 of Law 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection gives facial images as an example of biometric data, which is specific personal data. A photo also invites judgement on appearance, while Circular M/6/HK.04/V/2025 bars discrimination in recruitment. Applicant tracking systems cannot read images either.
