Job scams are on the official record. The Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) run by the financial regulator OJK has received the number of job-offer scam reports below, while the correct information is spread across many official websites.

Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has said that a fee in the recruitment process is almost certainly a scam (an official statement reported by the media, January 2025). The Satgas PASTI booklet published by the financial regulator OJK in August 2026 also lists fake job offers among the scams to watch for.

What does KarirAman never do?
KarirAman never does any of the following:

- guarantee that you will be hired or that a vacancy is free of risk.
KarirAman is not a government website either. For official services we link straight to the agency, for example Kemnaker's Karirhub for jobs in Indonesia, the list of licensed placement agencies (P3MI) on KP2MI's SISKOP2MI for work abroad, and BKN's SSCASN for civil-service (CPNS and PPPK) selection.
How does KarirAman make sure its information is correct?
KarirAman relies on primary sources first: regulations from peraturan.go.id and the JDIH legal databases, BPS statistics, and announcements from Kemnaker, KP2MI and OJK. Every page lists its sources with the date we opened them. Salary and wage figures are never typed into the text; they come from data files that record the unit, period and source.
Drafts written with AI assistance are flagged, and every fact is then checked critically against its official source. A page is published only after it passes every automated check and an editor approves it; a page that changes goes back to draft until it is approved again.
