KarirAman privacy policy

What data is collected when you read KarirAman?

KarirAman has no accounts, sets no cookies of its own, and uses no trackers, advertising pixels or social media widgets. You can read every page without giving any personal data.

KarirAman runs on Cloudflare's network. As with any website, the server receives technical data that your browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, so that pages can be delivered and the site protected from attacks. Visitor statistics, when switched on, use only Cloudflare Web Analytics. According to Cloudflare, this service does not use cookies or localStorage for analytics, does not track visitors over time by IP address or device fingerprint, and does not record the part of a page address after the question mark.

Cloudflare's security layer may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security, for example when your browser is asked to pass an anti-bot check. KarirAman does not use those cookies to track you.

Do the job checker or the Save feature store my data?

Not on our servers. Text you paste into the job checker is checked on your device and never sent anywhere. Pages you keep with the Save feature are stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are never sent to KarirAman. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

What data is sent through the forms?

As of 8 October 2026, KarirAman's forms are not open yet; in the meantime you can send an e-mail. Once the forms open, each one asks only for what it needs:

• Fake job ad report: where you saw the ad (for example WhatsApp or a job site), the platform name, the likely scam type, the ad text, whether you have already transferred money, and an e-mail address if you want a reply. Phone numbers, e-mail addresses, links, account handles and long strings of digits such as bank account numbers in the report text are replaced with "[disamarkan]" (redacted) before they are stored or passed to the editors.
• Vacancy from an employer: the legal entity name, the NIB business licence number, the website, the company e-mail address, the name of the person responsible, and the vacancy details, including the placement agency (P3MI) name and SIP2MI number for jobs abroad.
• Correction requests and contact messages: the page link or topic, your message, a source link if you have one, and your name and e-mail address if you want a reply. These messages are passed to the editors and are not kept in the form database.

The forms accept no file uploads. KarirAman does not accept job applications or CVs. Never send a photo of your ID card (KTP), your own bank account number, a one-time code (OTP), a PIN or a password; the OJK Satgas PASTI booklet also warns against sharing data like this.

The form database does not store your IP address or browser type. To filter out bots, form pages use Cloudflare Turnstile. According to Cloudflare, Turnstile processes technical signals such as the IP address, TLS fingerprint and browser type only to tell people from bots, and does not read what you type into the form.

How long is data kept?

Deletion runs automatically every day. We also delete data sooner if you ask.

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

KarirAman processes form data on the basis of your consent. Article 20(2)(a) of Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU 27/2022) lists valid, explicit consent as a legal basis for processing, and Article 21 requires us to explain the purpose, the type of data, how long it is kept and your rights, as this page does. Every form has a consent box that you must tick yourself.

Data is used only for the purpose of that form: following up a report, checking a vacancy, correcting a page or answering a message. Processing a child's personal data requires consent from a parent or guardian (Article 25). If you are a child, ask a parent or guardian to help you send the report.

What are your rights over your personal data?

Under Law 27/2022 you have the right to:

• be told who is asking for your data and why (Article 5);
• complete, update and correct your data (Article 6);
• access your data and get a copy of it (Article 7);
• ask for processing to stop and for your data to be deleted (Article 8);
• withdraw your consent (Article 9);
• ask for processing to be postponed or restricted (Article 11).

Who manages and processes this data?

Form data is managed by KarirAman, which is run by Kode Nirlaba. Cloudflare processes data on our behalf for hosting, security, Turnstile, visitor statistics, storage of form data and e-mail forwarding. KarirAman does not sell, rent or share your data for advertising, and does not pass your submission to employers, agencies or anyone else without your consent, unless the law requires it.

What happens if this policy changes?

We announce every change to this privacy policy on this page, with the date and a summary in the change log. A change that lowers your protection does not apply backwards to data you have already sent.
