What is MagangHub and the National Apprenticeship Programme?

MagangHub is the Ministry of Manpower's official platform for the National Apprenticeship Programme, which connects new graduates with host companies. According to the MagangHub site (read 7 October 2026), apprenticeships last six months at a company with a mentor, and the participant's allowance is paid by the government, not the company. An apprenticeship is part of Indonesia's job-training system, combining training with supervised work (Law 13/2003 Article 1 point 11).

What are the requirements to apply to MagangHub?

The main MagangHub requirements: an Indonesian citizen with a NIK; a diploma, degree or professional-education graduate who graduated no more than one year before applying (a professional certificate issued within two years of the diploma or degree); from a higher-education institution registered with the ministry; and never previously confirmed as a national apprentice. The ministry sets no minimum GPA, but host companies may add requirements.

Which documents do you need for MagangHub?

MagangHub's requirements page asks for a scan of a valid KTP (ID card), the original ijazah (not a provisional graduation letter), your latest transcript and a recent photo with a red or blue background. Supporting certificates or work references are optional. Prepare clear digital copies before registration opens, because the whole process is online.

When does the next MagangHub batch open?

As of 8 October 2026, MagangHub's home page shows Batch 3 of 2026 as the batch now open. The company and participant registration dates are shown in the schedule box on this page, which updates its status automatically once a date has passed. After participant registration come company recruitment, ministry selection and confirmation, and the first day of the apprenticeship in mid-November 2026. Batch 4 had not been announced on MagangHub when we checked; official dates appear only on maganghub.kemnaker.go.id.

What benefits do MagangHub participants receive?

MagangHub participants receive a monthly allowance equal to the local minimum wage (UMK), fully paid by the government, and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan cover for work accidents (JKK) and death (JKM), registered and paid by the Ministry of Manpower. Those who complete the programme get a ministry certificate, and MagangHub offers alumni free BNSP certification. You can look up your area's UMK on KarirAman's minimum-wage pages.

How do you apply to MagangHub?

First, create a SIAPkerja account. Then log in at maganghub.kemnaker.go.id, complete your details, upload your documents and choose apprenticeship vacancies that fit your skills and education. Companies select candidates through document checks or interviews, propose successful names to the ministry, and national results are announced on MagangHub. The whole process is online and free.

Will a MagangHub participant definitely be hired afterwards?

Not necessarily. The MagangHub FAQ says many companies hire high-performing participants as permanent staff, but that depends entirely on the company's policy and the participant's performance. During the apprenticeship, record your work for your CV, and ask your mentor for a work reference or recommendation before the programme ends.

What are the signs of a scam using MagangHub's name?

MagangHub registration is free and done by you on the official site, so any request for money for registration, selection or placement is a warning sign. Also be wary of registration links outside the maganghub.kemnaker.go.id domain, requests for your SIAPkerja password or one-time code, and anyone promising you will pass selection. Contact only the details listed on the MagangHub site.
