What are the steps to work in Poland through Polish work permit (zezwolenie na pracę)?

  1. If an agency is involved, make sure the P3MI is active on SISKOP2MI and the Poland vacancy is in the SISKOP2MI job list.
  2. The employer files the work permit application electronically and pays the fee; the voivode competent for the employer's seat issues the permit.
  3. Once issued, prepare the type D visa documents: original work permit, pre-employment contract, employer letter, insurance, proof of accommodation, tickets and proof of funds.
  4. Apply for the national type D visa with work rights through e-Konsulat at the Polish Embassy in Jakarta.
  5. Attend the pre-departure orientation (OPP) and make sure your E-KPMI is issued before departure if you go through a P3MI, or report as an independent migrant worker.
