What is the education route to becoming a CAD drafter?

The fastest route is an SMK in construction, for example Building Modelling and Information Design (DPIB), whose certification scheme is listed by the SMK Directorate, then optionally a diploma or degree in engineering. Directorate General of Construction Decree 114/2024 sets architectural and construction drafters at levels 2 to 4, and BIM drafters at levels 2 and 3, with a path up to BIM modeller and BIM coordinator.
