How much do travel consultants earn in Indonesia?

Travel consultants must be paid at least the applicable minimum wage: the city or regency minimum (UMK), or the provincial minimum (UMP) where no UMK is set. Which education routes lead to travel and ticketing jobs?

Common routes into travel work are a tourism or hospitality vocational school (SMK), a tourism diploma or degree, or a ticketing course at a training institution. You can prove your skills with a competency certificate from a BNSP-licensed certification body (LSP) based on the travel agent and tour operator standard (Kepmenaker 208/2021).
